I'm growing Orozco pepper (C.annuum) now. There are 4 funny pods at my plant with so to speak "neckties".

Anybody know whether it's typical for this variety or not?

As far as I know Orozco is a pepper variety from Eastern Europe, Hungary.

There are two different descriptions of Orozco pepper variety:

the 1st one

Orozco

A stunningly attractive plant with purple/black stems producing upright fruits, turning from light green to purple (almost black), yellow, orange, then red. The foliage is purple almost black on the front and green on the back.

the 2d

Plant produces good yields of 3 ½" long by 1 ¼" wide hot peppers. Peppers are very hot and turn from green to bright orange when mature. Plant has green stems, green leaves, and white flowers. The pepper resembles a bunch of carrots.

My plant's leaves are green...
