Almost been a week and things have been growing.

Pimiento de Padron

Pimenta Lisa F-2, pods at different color stages

IMAG4575.jpg

IMAG4576.jpg

Pimenta Lisa F-2 green pheno is loading up. Pods feel heavier the the dark pheno but are smaller, shorter and less bumpy. Curious to what color they will ripen.

Unknown (super)hot

Murupi Amarela

I have some variation in my Trinidad Scorpion CARDI yellow plants. 2 are showing true to form pods and the other 2 make pods like this. More gnarly surface and the shape isn't true.

Thai Demon

Thai Orange

IMAG4583.jpg

Jwala. The pods get an dull green color after a while. Is this normal for the variety?

IMAG4588.jpg

What's the deal with this Jalapeño Felicity, very big pods :)

To show the inside of it, pretty common thing to do.

Thanks, Dario. Last year they all turned green with purple spots, after that yellow and pink like an Peach. I'm expecting the same thing to happen again.

Grazie, Gianni. It's Pimenta Lisa, this is not the Elisa.

Another small harvest.

As you can see, very meaty and hardly any seeds. Good flavor and juicy.

Thanks, John. These were early pods because of... projects of mine :) The normal harvest will have to wait at least a month or more before that happens  I'm still a month ahead of previous seasons and the plants are much bigger also. Family is doing well, kids are growing quickly and consuming every bit of time ;) They are enjoying the cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden.

Jalapeño Agriset 4108

IMAG4640.jpg

Scotch Brain's F-2 (Scotch Bonnet Yellow x 7-Pot BS Yellow F-2) Gnarly as ever but not an consistent podshape.

IMAG4646.jpg

7 Pot Peach F-2, it's 2 plants blended together. The darker pods were first set, didn't look like the right phenotype to me but today finally the other plant had set pods which were light green. Looks promising!

IMAG4647.jpg

Some Beaver Dam pods for on the BBQ tonight.

Harvested last weekend.

Wow!

Lot of wonderful fruits here!

No problem with weather in Northern Europe?

We are fighting every days with rainstorms and wind, worst beginning of summer in past 10 years.

Grazie, Claudio :)

Yeah the weather has been... bad to say the least. Temperature fluctuates a lot, lots of rain these past 10 days. The plants aren't so happy with it. It was to be expected since we didn't have any real frost this winter :( I get a lot more flowerdrop at the moment. My plants are inside the poly tunnel so luckily they don't suffer much from the strong winds.

Yeah, the albino pepper died, didn't make it past it's cotyledons.
