meatfreak 501 Posted July 26, 2014 Wow mate, your tunnel is badass! 3rd picture from the bottom, what are the nasty bhut pods? Thanks, John. Those are Bhut Jolokia Cappuccino, had grown it a couple of years ago but started it to late back then. So not a lot of seeds, still managed to get 2 plants out of it and just let it flower to be sure to get some pods. It's flowering and setting new pods as these are almost ripe How are your Coyote Zan White doing? Mine got a couple of ripe pods, but I leave them on the plant for as long as possible to get really white pods.

meatfreak 501 Posted July 31, 2014 pepper heaven....and wonderful colors from all other growing!!! Grazie, Dario! In nord-west italy it's a bad year for tomatoes...too much rain Sorry to hear, Marco To much rain ain't a good thing for tomatoes for sure. It's something we struggle with over here as well, always on the look out for the diseases.
meatfreak 501 Posted August 2, 2014 Harvest time has come and managed to make a first decent harvest, 1.6kg in total. meatfreak 501 Posted August 3, 2014 congratulations beautiful harvest, you did well to put the watermark davide Thanks, Davide. The Jalaro are slowly ripening of Well done mate! Do you have pure seeds of the white fruits? I really love white peppers... The Coyote Zan White, Murupi Amarela and Devil's Tongue White pods were all formed inside the house. So the change that the seeds are pure is bigger then the ones that are being formed inside the poly tunnel. I do not isolate all my plants, it's to much effort I'm afraid. 7 Pot Evergreen I had not yet seen the variant elongated... beautiful pods and plants Got 3 plants of it, the one plant is huge, loaded with pods and those are elongated with an pointy end. The other 2 plants have more the regular 7pot/apple shape.
Barbantano 1,572 Posted August 3, 2014 Thanks, Davide. The Jalaro are slowly ripening of well, I think next season is based yellow peppers Davide
meatfreak 501 Posted August 13, 2014 Been working my butt of to process all the tomatoes I've harvested last week. Kinda underestimated the amount it was. Took me 3 whole days to get 28 quarts of sauce and salsa combined and that's not even half of the total harvest. Next year not so many tomatoes my wife suggested Some jars of sauce. Salsa These went in the salsa, except for the yellow pod, that's an 7 pot lava yellow Black & Red Boar. Our favorite this season, excellent taste, yield and very versatile in use. Elysium Oxide Bonnet F-4 other plant is putting out pods that look more like a Bonnet. 7 Pot Peach F-2, not correct pheno but it gives a great yield and big pods. The other plant looks more to be true. I thought I saw some coloring on it but it's almost impossible to reach the plant. My Pimenta Lisa, dark/purple pheno. Yaki Blue, absolutely beautiful pods and color! 7 Pot White/Habanero White Giant This is the Pimenta Lisa, peach pheno. Really crunchy pods, the new pods show some more Habanero type shape. I'm still not convinced it's a Bhut cross Even if it's not what it supposed to be, these plants are excellent producers with 3 to 4 pods on a node. Plants are about 4 ft wide. 7 Pot Lava Yellow Jalapeño Farmers Market Potato Nora Thai Demon Jalapeño Agriset 4108. Tasted a few of these and they are really tasty. Not to hot and full flavor! Jalapeño Felicity. Also tasted this one and it was a let down. It's a no heat variety but it still can have flavor like the Dulce had last season. This one didn't. I did not pick it to early since the pods were dark enough. Won't be growing this one again. Next year it's Dulce again! Jalapeño Tormenta Jataka F-1 (Jaloro x Takanotsume) One of it's branches. You can see some Jaloro resemblance in the podshape. It stopped flowering but is making new buds since the first pods are ripening of.
