It's suitable if we don't have to much rain. Normally it's safe to plant out after half of May but maybe a month earlier this year. The will get plant out in my poly tunnel which provides more warmth and some protection against lower temperatures at night. At the moment we are having really great weather, 15°C during the day (7-8 normally) and 2-3°C during the night.

Very beautiful and healthy plants! :clapping:

The albino is always wonderful to see, but unfortunately it has no chance to survive :(

Indeed, it passed away 2 days ago. Luckily I had more seedlings of the variety :) those are in good health. Need to transplant them but times are busy.

1,5 month old Chinense, ready to make room for the Annuum I just transplanted :) Wanna keep the airflow as good as possible to avoid any pests or diseases.

Beautiful plants Stefan! Our seasons are typically similar. Europe must be having some great weather if you are transplanting.

Thanks all!

I meant transplanting from the seedtray, John :) Not inground yet, that's a bit to early although the weather has been great indeed. I'm planning on bringing them to the tunnel in April. Maybe plant out early May, but still got loads of work to do at the garden itself so, we'll see ;)

Last week it was great weather, it's now back to normal again. Although we still don't have frost at night with temps around 4-5 degrees I'm very happy.

Wonderful, healthy plants!

Thanks, Claudio :)

Today I got some nice varieties from my good friend, Carlo. Thanks again! Although it's late in season, they went into the ground. We'll see what happens :)

Guess around 140 but I'm gonna give some away so I might end up with 120. Wanna have 2 or 3 plants of each variety I grow :)

It's been about 2 weeks now, so time for another update. The Annuum have really grown a lot like expected and the Chinense have started making buds. I left some under the cfl lamp and the rest is in front of the window. Those have gotten a lot taller, internodes have gone from ¼ inch to 1 inch. This week I will start to harden of the Chinense. The Annuum will stay in the growtent for a while to get that extra bit of growth icon_smile.gif

Nagabrain Chocolate F-2, more distance between the internodes. All part of the plan I have for this season.

It's really something else this plant, it grows but yeah not a beauty  luckily I got 2 more plants of this variety that have "normal" growth.

These past weeks I've been busy in the garden. We are currently having awesome weather and temperature is very high for this time of year. Not to mentioning inside the tunnel... pfff dance.gif

Tomato, eggplant, cucumber tunnel

Pepper tunnel. Due to back problems I didn't spade this one. Luckily the ground wasn't to compact so it was possible to till it.

Just making sure the ground is tilled properly icon_wink.gif

Backup is on it's way :) Garden is loaded with ladybug eggs.

Not much happening on the pepper front except for growth and removing flowers. These last few days were almost windless so I could finally start to hardening of the Chinense. Should be a couple more sunny days and they can move to the poly tunnel. Then it's the Annuum's turn. Plant out should be around half of May, there's no frost at all.
