Good luck!how many seeds for single variety have you buried?

Just 2 seeds for most of them, some just one, 4-5 seeds of those really special or those I have had problems with germination before.In this way I lose some, but I need that selection becasue I always grow to many varities:)I also have some plants that I overvinter (includning Turbo Pube, thanks for asking)RegardsPatrik

patrik, in overwintering pubescens plants you use to prune them? and if, how and when do it?in winter my rocotos have some pods that will ripe in this season, but in the meanwhile plants become really nasty...

After the pods has matured (october-december) I cut them back a little, as I have the space I leave some of the plants quite large. Sometimes I cut them or prune the roots after harvest, but when I cut them down to heavy it takes longer for the plant to recover the next year (as we have quite short outside season). In spring I allways cut away the dead parts.

have news about rocoto white? i remember the flower attached?

I have two plants of White Rocoto, one continue to produce flowers - but it has not pruduced any pods. I dont think it will produce any pods before late spring - early summer (april-may if I am lucky).I might add some more photos!I am hoping that all the people who I sent seeds can help me. It would be great to see if the pods really turns out white. I have sent seeds to Italy(several people), Spain, Portugal,England, Denmark, Holland, USA.
