Aji Verde means green chile pepper. Like Aji amarillo there are several Aji Verde´s. The one I did grow matured in orange. It reminded me very much of the Aji Amarillo i did grow last year or the Aji Amarillo that Orto Novo grows. I understad that Aji Amarillo sometimes is called Aji verde when used as green in South America.

I never saw nor I've info about a pepper green when ripen ... I agree with Patrick it probably doesn't exist, but ... who knows?(Pimenta da Neyde shows that nothing's impossible)

I dont know about Thai Green Chilies, but as Lonewolf noted the Pimenta da Neyda never changes color (black). So if there are not any peppers that mature in green yet, I do belive it is just a question of time before we see a green matured pepper.RegardsPatrik
